I live alone in a small village. I have diabetes and have had two strokes. Because of my health, I hardly ever leave the house anymore and cannot take care of myself on my own. There is no longer a shop in our village, so groceries have to be bought in another town. The doctor prescribed medicine for me, but it is very expensive, and my pension isn't enough for everything. Every day a neighbor comes to see me: she helps around the house, helps cook food and does the things I can no longer do myself.
