What was your life like before...

before this damned war I worked as a passenger minibus driver, taking people to work and from work back home. I didn't drink or smoke, I went fishing, I helped my neighbors and they helped me. We didn't live in wealth, but not in poverty either; the main thing was that there was peace and quiet.

How does this affect your everyday life?

I wake up at seven or earlier, freshen up by washing my face and start a new day. Right now there are a great many air raid alerts at night, in the morning and during the day, around the clock. It is hard to concentrate on anything, everything feels tense and eerie, my memory has gotten worse and my health is getting worse and worse, my brain and nerves are strained, with a constant fear of a "Shahed" bomb hitting. A constant waiting for the end of this damned war.

Your strengths and dreams

my dream is a peaceful Life! this year I adopted a kitty, Lu-Lu, from a shelter. the animal has a very, very good temperament; she ended up in the shelter all the way from the city of Sumy, she survived explosions and bombings and copes with this damned war very calmly. a very cuddly, chatty, gentle cat. she inspires me with her calm, patience and love of Life.

What exactly will the funds be used for?

the money from kind people and donors will go first of all to medicine! medicines for blood pressure and diabetes have become much more expensive, plus support for heart treatment; I badly need money for massage treatments for my back, lower back and neck
