Luybov Ivanova
Mukolaiv, Ukraine
50 y. o.
We are a family from Liubomyrivka. Our house burned down and we lost everything we had.

What was your life like before...
When everything was fine, before the war, we did farming: we kept chickens, ducks, rabbits, pigs and cows. We made our living from our farm and took our produce to the market.
How does this affect your everyday life?
Ordinary mornings have become completely different for me, taking on new meanings: value, anxiety, waiting, hope. And simple things, such as sounds, a rumble of thunder, a motorcycle running, or a door slamming shut, now make me flinch.
Your strengths and dreams
In these difficult times, what helps me not to give up is your support and faith in the future.
What exactly will the funds be used for?
I am very grateful to the donors for such much-needed help. Without it, things would be very hard for me, since I need constant treatment and examinations: CT scans, frequent hospital visits, various tests.
