What was your life like before...

I had no income other than my pension, so I had to save on literally everything. It was especially hard, for example, to put together everything needed for surgery (this was in 2021) when I had a serious hand injury. And then, when the war started, the situation became even worse.

How does this affect your everyday life?

Because of a spinal injury, I can only get around in a wheelchair. There are many everyday things I can't manage without someone's help. I spend a lot of time doing physical exercises to reduce my back pain.

Your strengths and dreams

I have been a fighter all my life. I have been in a wheelchair for many years, but all this time I have tried to lead an active life and do sports. But now, like all Ukrainians, I dream of Ukraine's victory in this war.

What exactly will the funds be used for?

Since my pension is small, the money will go toward covering everyday needs (utilities, food, medicine and other unexpected expenses).
