42 y. o.
Our family: Oryna, 12, Viktoriia, 20, and mom Natalia, 42. We now live in Kyiv.

What was your life like before...
We lived in Bakhmut. The kids went to school and to after-school clubs. We went on vacations, met up with friends, and simply lived our happy life! I worked very hard and saved up for a home of our own, and in 2019 we bought the house of our dreams ❤️ The three years before the war were the happiest! I was building a future for my children. I so wanted them to have their own little nest where they would always be safe, but sadly 😢 the Russians burned our dream down 😔
How does this affect your everyday life?
My day… is waking up. There is shelling almost every night, we barely sleep because it is so frightening. We woke up in the morning, and that is already good 🙏

Your strengths and dreams
I don't give up because I have someone to live for. My children are my strength and my courage. I don't lose heart; I hold on only for them. My older daughter no longer lives with us, so I worry even more. I dream of peace and a roof of my own over my head, a roof under which I won't have to worry that tomorrow we'll be thrown out onto the street because we have nothing to pay the landlord with.
What exactly will the funds be used for?
My child and I rent an apartment for which I pay 15,000 hryvnias every month. My daughter goes to school. She does music and theater, and all of this has to be paid for. We receive 3,000 hryvnias of assistance from the state. I work and also take on side jobs wherever I can, but the money I earn is barely enough. Right now it is really hard: the air raid alerts are very frequent and long, and we can hardly work. So the money I receive from you goes to food and to my daughter's development.
